Austin Butler is an Academy Award nominated actor from Anaheim, California. He grew up in close proximity to both Disneyland and Knox Berry Farm, where he would go on a regular basis with his mother and sister. He was "discovered" at 13 years old and began acting on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel for a number of years before graduating to more serious roles. Butler has had roles on "Ruby and the Rockits", "The Carrie Diaries", and "The Shannara Chronicles". I’ve been a fan of Austin for a few years now, but never had the urge to start a site on him until March 2011 when previews for Sharpay’s Fabulous Adventure were being released. Ashley Tisdale wasn’t helping either with her random tweets while hanging out with him. At the beginning of April, I got a chance to watch the Sharpay movie about three weeks before it was released. I finally caved and purchased austin-butler.net from NameCheap, applied to be hosted at Fan-Sites.org and was accepted the same day. The site opened May 15, 2011.
