Austin Butler is an Academy Award nominated actor from Anaheim, California. He grew up in close proximity to both Disneyland and Knox Berry Farm, where he would go on a regular basis with his mother and sister. He was "discovered" at 13 years old and began acting on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel for a number of years before graduating to more serious roles. Butler has had roles on "Ruby and the Rockits", "The Carrie Diaries", and "The Shannara Chronicles". The 31-year-old actor exclusively told Access Hollywood special correspondent Jason Kennedy why he almost left the industry years ago after his mother passed away at the 2023 Oscars Nominees Luncheon on Feb. 13.
