Austin Butler is an Academy Award nominated actor from Anaheim, California. He grew up in close proximity to both Disneyland and Knox Berry Farm, where he would go on a regular basis with his mother and sister. He was "discovered" at 13 years old and began acting on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel for a number of years before graduating to more serious roles. Butler has had roles on "Ruby and the Rockits", "The Carrie Diaries", and "The Shannara Chronicles". Austin Butler will receive the Breakthrough Performance Award at the Palm Springs International Film Awards for his portrayal in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis.
“Austin Butler commands the screen with a larger-than-life performance as Elvis Presley in Baz Luhrmann’s spectacular film Elvis.
