Austin Butler is an Academy Award nominated actor from Anaheim, California. He grew up in close proximity to both Disneyland and Knox Berry Farm, where he would go on a regular basis with his mother and sister. He was "discovered" at 13 years old and began acting on Nickelodeon and Disney Channel for a number of years before graduating to more serious roles. Butler has had roles on "Ruby and the Rockits", "The Carrie Diaries", and "The Shannara Chronicles". The Carrie Diaries sees actress Ellen Wong (Scott Pilgrim vs The World) playing the role of Mouse, who is a good friend of Carrie (AnnaSophia Robb). Ellen has spoken about her role on the show, admitting that she loved working with AnnaSophia Robb, Austin Butler and the rest of the cast.
Wong explained, “Everything’s so fun. We really enjoy having this experience together. I’m trying to appreciate the now and just enjoy it.
